Australia Week – Facts About Australia, but they aren’t that fun

Well, it’s all over. Australia week has come to an end. I’ll leave you with these facts about Australia. I was hoping there would be some better ones, but it seems pretty boring down there.

-Sheep outnumber people 150 million to 20 million.

-Bob Hawke, who later went on to be Australia’s Prime Minister,  made it into the Guinness Book in 1954 for consuming 2.5 pints of beer in 11 seconds.

-The Great Barrier Reef has its own mailbox. Speaking of, here’s me doing some spear fishing in the reef.

-The average Australian will eat about 165,000 eggs in their lifetime. I don’t know enough about eggs to know if that is a lot or not.

-Australia has one of the highest degrees of urban concentration in the world, but also has one of the lowest population densities, with about 3 people per square kilometer.

Wow, these are boring the crap out of me. Here’s a photo of me about to hit downtown Sydney. That is how they dress down there. What a bunch of losers.

Here’s a video of one of the more well known Australian bands, a little group I like to call AC/DC.
