Congratulations to the Minnesota Lynx, I Guess

     Apparently Minnesota has a professional women’s basketball team, and they won the world championship. The coverage of the one team in the state that doesn’t totally suck must have gotten lost somewhere in between the dazzling 0-4 Vikings, the comical collapse of the Twins, or maybe even highlights of the Gophers football team getting blasted 58-0. Minnesota is so used to losing that all the local stations must have assumed the ladies would blow it and didn’t even bother to show any of the playoff games. I know I wouldn’t have watched had it been televised, but if you’re like a Lynx fan or something, maybe you should be mad about this. And act quick, before everyone in the WNBA disappears for the winter to go back to their higher-paying data entry jobs.
